If you need to cancel your booking:
(a) When the cancellation is made not less than two weeks before the date of the booking, the full amount you have paid shall be refunded
(b) When the cancellation is made not less than one week before the date of the booking, 50% of the total payment will be refunded

Check in at Linlithgow Hostel is between 2-5pm and check out is at 10am. Simply drop your key in the key drop-off box located at the front door when you depart.

Yes, there is free car parking available at Linlithgow Hostel. We offer 26 parking spaces directly outside the hostel, labelled for use by the Low Port Centre. Guests are welcome to park in any of these designated spots. Additionally, there is a long-stay car park conveniently located across the road beside Tesco for additional parking needs.

Our hostel is committed to providing accessible accommodation for all guests. We offer 6 ground-floor rooms, with 2 of these featuring wet rooms for added convenience. While we will do our best to accommodate requests for ground-floor rooms, please note that we cannot guarantee availability. Additionally, there is a ramp at the entrance to the property to assist with wheelchair access. For guests with disabilities, we provide three designated disabled parking spaces close to the entrance. If you have any specific accessibility needs or requests, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to assist you.

Please note the Linlithgow Hostel is located at the High Street end of the Low Port Centre. We are situated in Linlithgow, a town close to Edinburgh. We are very accessible by train to many nearby towns and cities.
By Train
100m from Linlithgow train station. (1 minute walk) Linlithgow Train Station is on the main Glasgow to Edinburgh line. From Linlithgow Station walk down the hill to the High Street, cross to the other side of the street and turn right. The Centre is the big white building on your left just past the roundabout.
By Car
From Livingston (M8 Junction 3), head for Uphall and turn left onto the B8046; through Ecllesmachan to Threemiletown. Turn left onto the B9080 to Linlithgow. Once in Linlithgow turn right at the traffic lights go under the bridge and then turn right after the roundabout. The centre is on the left immediately after the roundabout.
From Bathgate (M8 Junction 4), take the A801 following signs for Linlithgow, continue on to the A706. As you come into Linlithgow, go straight ahead at the first roundabout, under the railway bridge and then right at the next roundabout. You’ll come to another roundabout at the east end of the High Street. Take the left cut off, the Centre is immediately on the left.
From Edinburgh on the M9, come off at junction 3 and turn left. As you enter Linlithgow you should see a Tesco supermarket. The centre is directly opposite; turn right just after pedestrian crossing.
From the West on M9, come off at junction 4 and take the A803 (3rd exit), this road continues on to Linlithgow High Street. Continue straight through the first roundabout you come to on the High Street. At the next roundabout take the left exit. The Linlithgow Hostel is immediately on your left hand side.
By Bus
Linlithgow is well served by bus routes from all areas of West Lothian, most buses that pass through Linlithgow stop at Linlithgow Cross. From here, walk east towards the roundabout at the end of the High Street. The Centre is on the left, just past the roundabout.
